What is a Squad?

From speaking with millions of you over the last 10+ years, we know how many people want to make a positive impact on the world around them, to create a better life for themselves and the generations that follow.

But the issues we’re facing are so big that it can sometimes feel like an impossible uphill struggle… With billions of people around the world, what difference can I make by myself?

But the truth is, whilst individually we may feel powerless, collectively we can be powerful. That’s where the idea of Squads originated.

Through Sorted Squads we can come together around challenges that matter to us and make change happen.

How it works

Together, we identify food industry challenges we’d love to tackle as a Squad!

We form a Squad of pioneering people to take on the challenge, working with a Squad Lead at Sorted.

We figure out how we can have a significant impact and put the wheels in motion to make change happen.

All you need to do is decide if you’re in and what skills you’re happy to bring to the table. It could be anything from:

Sharing your thoughts in research sessions
Hosting or attending a supper club
Trialling new recipes and foods
Sharing a skill or craft
Reaching out to friends and colleagues to spread the word

We know there are no quick or easy answers to these issues, but by working together with hope and optimism, we know we can make a difference.
