He’s the guy who turns a casual dinner into a meticulously orchestrated event, complete with a spreadsheet and a laser pointer for dramatic effect!

Some say he measures success not in Michelin stars but in the number of puns (or Benuendos) he can squeeze into a single cooking session.

When Ben’s not overseeing the Food team, he’s also a highly regarded public keynote speaker on subjects such as the future of food, food trends, sustainability, and online community building.

In the world of Sorted, Barry is a bit of a maverick, renowned for being partial to a pretentious ingredient or two. The only thing hotter than the hobs he’s left on is the sous chef apron he gets to wear following his chefs skills badge win.

But it’s not just about the food for Barry; it’s about the journey, the mishaps, and the sheer joy of creating chaos in the kitchen.

Known for his creative flair on-screen, off-camera Barry leads innovation and new product development, as well as using his experience in photography and design to develop our digital products.

On-screen, Mike’s eagerness to please is incredibly endearing - just don’t look at the mess he leaves behind him! When not in his comfort zone of fried chicken and Thai green curry, Mike’s always willing to take on large challenges to further his knowledge and improve his skills., His visionary approach carries through to his off-screen work as Creative Director, driving a strong narrative through our content and other activities.

Having trained in Michelin-starred kitchens for the last 17 years, our Head of Food, Kush, not only offers a unique cheffy perspective (and supreme level of chaos) throughout our content, but also plays a key role in developing recipes for our Sidekick app and feeding our constantly hungry team!

James is known for 3 main things in the Sorted universe - his massive arms, his innate cheffy ability and plating skills, and his downright refusal to sugarcoat any opinions about terrible kitchen gadgets. Lately, James has been carving out his own path - exploring the world of food through new professional endeavours. But he’s never too far away and regularly returns to showcase his awe-inspiring foodie skills.
