It was the worst Sunday ever because the house smelt amazing from the moment he woke up and you know the rule with slow cookers, he says… no opening and no tasting. Ever since that meal, Karl was hooked.
<!– –><!– –>
He absolutely loves cooking spaghetti bolognese. You can make it as a full on comfort food meal, or enjoy it as a really fancy dish with friends. It passes as a special occasion meal but can crop up at any time. He would cook spaghetti bolognese throughout university. It was great to cook in bulk, cook for one or to save for a cheeky bolognese toastie in the morning (it was uni, he doesn’t want to be judged for his actions).
<!– –><!– –>
Now it's just a staple meal if something great is happening, or if he really needs a good cheering up. The first time he cooked for his girlfriend he made this incredible spaghetti bolognese. The bonus part is you pair it with a great bottle of red wine which goes into the bolognese too. He always has to buy two bottles to make sure he still has enough for the cooking. It was probably the best spaghetti bolognese she'd ever have (his words).
<!– –><!– –>
Karl says it's the kind of dinner you can smell someone else cooking in your apartment block and think "damn: why ain’t I having what they’re having for dinner". Friends come over and see that he’s got this big pot of bolognese cooking away and they're all intrigued. He says that he always tried to jazz up the classic and make it better, but ninety-nine percent of the time it's just about how long you cook it.
<!– –><!– –>
<!– –>
<!– –>
<!– –>
<!– –><!– –>[/wcm_restrict]
