Recipe: Nutella And Salted Caramel Stuffed Cookies


Does life get better than Nutella and Salted Caramel Stuffed Double Chocolate Chip Cookies?! Well, when you film them in stop motion not only do they taste amazing, they also look INCREDIBIZZLE! Yes, we invited our friend Izy from Top With Cinnamon down to show us how real food is done, and she doesn't disappoint!


  • 110 g butter
  • 350 g light brown sugar
  • 55 g cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 260 g plain flour
  • 100 g milk / dark chocolate chips
  • 1 sprinkle sea salt
  • 8 tbsp Nutella
  • 16 caramel-filled chocolates
Preheat oven

line a baking tray with parchment paper. preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.

melt the butter in a medium heated pan. take off the heat and stir in the brown sugar and eggs.

add the cocoa, salt and baking powder and stir until well combined. add the flour and stir until no floury patches are left. stir in the chocolate chips.

take 1 heaped tbsp of dough, use your finger make a large indentation the centre of the dough; fill the indentation with a small blob of nutella (like 1/2 tsp ish), and top it up with the caramel-filled chocolate. top with a flattened tablespoon of dough, and seal the edges.

sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 8-10 minutes



I've made these for people a good few times and they never fail to impress! The gooey sweet centre of these gorgeously sweet cookies are to die for, though you probably shouldn't have more than one.

Made these without the filling as I had no vanilla, they're rich like brownies but absolutely fantastic nonetheless!


Thank god for Sorted and Top with Cinnamon because these are my new favourites! These are my go-to when I either need to unwind or just need chocolate - although many do get eaten by friends or flatmates first! Just as good without the salt for those who don't like salty-sweet combo.
