Chocolate Brownie In A Mug
Settle your chocolate craving and make a 5 minute brownie in a mug to eat on the sofa. It's quick, easy, cheap and perfect for students thanks to the trusty microwave. There's an idea for you.
- 1 small egg
- 65 g light brown sugar
- 25 g plain flour
- 50 g dark chocolate
- 35 g salted butter
- 1 handful pecan nuts
- 10 g cocoa powder
Melt Butter, Choc & Sugar
Snap the chocolate into a small bowl and spoon in the sugar and butter.
Melt in a microwave for 45 seconds, then stir to continue the melting in the residual heat.
Crack In The Egg
Crack in the egg and beat together, followed by the flour and cocoa.
Cook for 2 mins on full power (800 watts), then leave to rest for another 2 minutes.
Chop The Nuts
Chop the nuts and add to the mixture.
Decorate with a dusting of icing sugar, a sprig of mint and a dollop of ice cream!
