Recipe: Mixed Grains Bowl With Fig
An easy combination of toasted grains and figs in yogurt drizzled with honey.
- 1 tbsp honey/maple syrup
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1-2 figs, sliced
- 3 tbsp buckwheat groats
- pinch of sea salt
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp almonds, roughly chopped
- 3 tbsp quinoa
In a pan, toast your groats, quinoa, coconut and nuts.
In a deep plate/bowl, spread the yogurt around the base. If vegan/lactose intolerant, use coconut yogurt or soy yogurt.
Pour the toasted grains onto the yogurt and top with sliced figs and a sprinkle of salt. Drizzle on honey and serve.
If vegan, use maple syrup.
