You'll never buy hot sauce again with this quick and easy better than store bought recipe!
Try drizzling over Asian noodle dishes for a delicious flavour kick
- 3 tsp Worcester sauce
- 3 tsp cayenne or paprika
- 3 tsp garlic paste
- 2 dried chillies
- 400 g chopped tomatoes
- 1 sliced caramelized onion
- ½ cup or 250ml vinegar (you can use red wine, white wine, or apple cider)
If you have onion chutney- add two tablespoons to the blender and skip this step, if not, read on!
Simply slice the onion, add to a oiled pan over medium heat
Add a tablespoon of sugar and cook the onion until soft and brown.
Note: If the onion starts to crisp add a tablespoon or two of water to the pan

Blend everything together and just like that: you've got your own homemade hot sauce!
This recipe is great for experimenting and adjusting to personal taste. If you can handle more heat, add more dried chillies!
