This is a decadent, rich and delicious chocolate pudding. The best part? A sauce is contained within and provides the perfect accompaniment to this delicious dessert! A chocaholic's dream!
Whisk the melted butter, eggs, milk and vanilla together.
Place the flour, sugar and cocoa into the mixer and combine slowly. Add in the chocolate and nuts. Pour the batter into a greased 1 litre baking dish.
Preheat an oven to 180°C.
Place the soft brown sugar, cocoa and water into a pan and heat to a bubble. Boil for 2 minutes, then stir in the hazelnut liquor. Pour the sauce over the cake batter, then bake for 35 minutes.
Leave to rest for 10 minutes before digging in and serving up. Scrap the seeds from the vanilla pod and beat into the clotted cream to dollop alongside the dessert.
