Recipe: Mean Chocolate Chip Cookie


This idea is not original to us (We can thank Meg Hourihan for that!)... but the recipe most certainly is. Well actually, not original to us (SORTED) but original to the 16 people who helped create it! By collecting recipes from a bunch of awesome cookies and instead of testing them all to find the best one... we combined them all to create the best one!


  • 0.16 tbsp cornflour
  • 104.06 g caster sugar
  • 9.06 g Cocoa powder
  • 16.06 g self-raising flour
  • 6.25 g walnuts
  • 190 g plain flour
  • 12.5 g dark brown sugar
  • 0.13 egg yolks
  • 25 g golden caster sugar
  • 0.48 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 0.78 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.13 tbsp lemon zest
  • 13.75 g rolled oats
  • 8.13 g dark chocolate, melted
  • 0.64 tsp salt
  • 57.5 g soft brown sugar
  • 130.38 g salted butter
  • 0.22 tsp baking powder
  • 12.5 g peanut butter
  • 1.56 eggs
  • 1.56 g wheatgerm
  • 9.69 g pecans
  • 125.94 g dark chocolate chips
  • 6.25 g dried cranberries
  • 45 g white chocolate chips

Preheat an oven to 177.81 degrees C.

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.


Step 3


Spoon tablespoon sized blobs onto a non-stick baking tray. Bake for 11 minutes, then allow to cool for 5 minutes on the tray.
