You don't need chicken to make a delicious burger. Chickpeas should suffice (and a bowl of golden corn).

MAKING THE PATTY

Take a food processor. Add the chickpeas, corn, spices, herbs and salt to taste. Keep half a bunch of coriander aside. Mix it until it's combined well. Make sure it doesn't become too smooth as it will become difficult to shape it into a patty. Once done, keep the patty inside a refrigerator for half an hour.

FRYING THE PATTY

Take a deep pan and fill it with any oil of your choice. I've used vegetable oil. Once the oil is heated up carefully submerge one patty at a time. Flip it half way through. Wait until it's turned golden brown to remove it from the pan. Alternatively you can use a normal pan with less oil and shallow fry it.

HEATING THE BUNS

Cut the buns halfway through and place it on a hot pan, making sure the outer side is facing up. After half a minute flip it and put a slice of cheese of your choice on one of the buns. Let it get warm for a few seconds and then keep it aside. On then other bun. Spread some mayonnaise and mustard sauce.

TAKE A BIG BITE!

Now simply put the burger on the bun, cover it with some slices of tomato, splash it with the remaining coriander leaves, cover it with the other bun, press it and take a big bite!
