Recipe: Pistachio And Honey Smoothie
A fairly healthy smoothie recipe using pistachios and honey as it's main flavour.
- drop of milk/water (optional)
- 1 banana
- sprinkle of ground pistachios
- drop of honey
- 1 cup honey/plain yoghurt
- ¼ cup pistachios
- handful ice
Put the pistachios, yoghurt, ice and banana in the smoothie maker and blend until mostly smooth.
With the yoghurt; for an extra honey-y flavour I recommend using plain yoghurt with honey. If you want it a bit less sweet and also healthier, plain yoghurt would be best.
Check the consistency and add any milk or water until it is to your liking, and blend again until fully combined.
Pour into (probably two) glasses and sprinkle the ground pistachios on top with a drizzle of honey...enjoy.
