Paht-Bing-Soo (Korean Shaved Ice)

A healthier alternative to your summer sundaes.
- 1 cup adzuki red bean paste
- ¼ cup mochi balls
- 1 cup chopped mixed fresh fruits
- 1 pt ice
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
Prepare The Fruits
wash and chop the fruits to bite sized pieces. You can use any fruits you like or whatever fruit that's in season.
Prepare The Ice
shave the ice into a bowl and trickle the sweetened condensed milk on top.
Add The Red Bean Paste.
Adzuki red bean paste is a sweet paste that can be found in the Asian specialty store or the Japanese food store. Put the desired amount of paste on top of the ice.
Top With The Fruits
Arrange the fruits and mochi balls on top of the bean paste and ice. Add more condensed milk, if desired.
Paht bing soo is best served with a friend. Grab your spoons and mix the ingredients all together and have fun fishing out the mochi balls. Enjoy!
