Another one to play with your mind... something that looks savoury... but is in fact sweet! This was suggested to us by one of you guys and at first we didn't believe it... after testing though... we LOVE it! We even (almost) avoiding any awkward innuendos...
Melt the butter gently in a pan.
Crack the egg into a separate bowl and dump in the sugar. Whisk the egg mixture until well combined
Beat the cocoa into the melted butter and stir until you have a smooth paste.
Break the shortcake biscuits into small pieces, not quite as small as crumbs. Combine the chocolate and sugar eggs in the bowl and whisk again. Stir in the biscuits, nuts and coconut.
Spread the mixture out into a long sausage shape on a sheet of clingfilm. Roll up into a sausage and push out any air bubbles. Chill in the fridge for a few hours or over night.
Remove the clingfilm and dust with icing sugar, then tie with string to make it look like a salami. Serves 12
