Recipe: Chocolate & Peanut Butter Fondant In A Mug

This is a wobbly knee moment! You'll have to try it to appreciate how special it is! Perhaps it only uses 5 ingredients (plus a bit of butter to grease the mugs) but they marry up together into something unbelievably magical!
Ingredients
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 large eggs
- 80 g caster sugar
- 40 g self-raising flour

Step 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat an oven to 200°C.

Step 2
Melt Choc & Peanut Butter
Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in a bowl in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water.

Step 3
Prep Mugs
Rub the butter round the inside of two mugs with your fingertips.

Step 4
Prep Eggs
Separate the eggs placing the whites into a clean dry bowl.

Step 5
Add Ingredients To Mixture
Add the sugar and egg yolks to the chocolate mixture and mix in. Fold in the flour.

Step 6
Whisk Eggs & Add To Mixture
Whisk the egg whites until you have stiff peaks. Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture in two batches maintaining as much air as possible.

Step 7
Divide Mixture
Divide the mixture between the mugs.

Step 8
Bake And Serve
Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on the shape of your mug, then allow to rest for a minute before serving in the mug with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Serves 2
