VEGAN PESTO

"I could eat that if it wasn't for the pesky parmesan." Well, turn that frown upside down because now your vegan pesto dreams have been answered! This recipe makes up 100g of vegan pesto with the same texture and flavour profiles as the real thing. You won't know the difference.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bunch basil
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
  • 50 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp toasted cashew nuts

Step 1

BLITZ BABY BLITZ!

Add everything to a small food processor and blitz to a loose rough paste, adding more olive oil if you need it. Could this recipe be any easier? We'll take a bow.
