Level Up Scrambled Eggs
Level up is where we take a simple dish and make it incredible! So this recipe will show you how to make the best scrambled eggs ever. Through some simple cooking tweaks and the magic ingredient, creme fraiche, you’ll be a breakfast master in no time.
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 spring onions
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp creme fraiche
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 drizzle Sriracha
Start Cooking The Eggs
Add the butter to a frying pan over a medium heat and whisk the eggs in a bowl.
When the butter is foaming add the spring onions and cook for a minute until they soften. Add the eggs and turn the heat up to high.
Stir The Eggs
With a spatula continuously stir the eggs over the heat until they start to cook, then remove the pan from the heat and continue to stir.
Keep moving the pan to and from the heat as the eggs cook on the bottom, stirring continuously.
Toast the bread.
Stir In Creme Fraiche
As the eggs are just fully cooked but still slightly creamy, remove them from the heat and add the creme fraiche to to stop the cooking. Season with a little salt and plenty of pepper.
Spoon the eggs over the toast, drizzle over a bit of Sriracha if you like and serve!
