Recipe: Bacon And Cheddar Gourmet Popcorn
If you're looking for a home cinema snack that's delicious and indulgent then you've hit the nail with cheesy bacon popcorn. There's a real interesting combination of things that go into this bad boy bowl: Pancetta, cheddar cheese, apricots, chives, paprika and honey.
Mix it up, pop on Netflix and get cosy with all your pals.
- 50 g pancetta
- 50 g corn kernels
- 100 g cheddar cheese, grated
- 50 g chopped apricots
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp honey
Pop The Popcorn!
Heat a dry frying pan over a high heat and add the pancetta. Cook for a few minutes until it's crisp and golden.
Heat a little oil in a large saucepan over a high heat. Add the corn to the pan and coat it in the oil. Add a lid and leave it until the corn starts to pop. Let all of the corn pop before removing from the heat.
Mix In The Flavours
Now add the cooked pancetta, cheddar cheese, apricots, chives, paprika and honey. Stir well to mix everything together.
Season well with salt and pepper and serve.
