Recipe: Overnight Chocolate Oats
Scrap that healthy muesli stuff and join us in treating yourself every so often with these delicious chocolatey, fruit oats. Just mix everything together, fridge it overnight and bam... you've got breakfast ready to go in the morning.
- 1 banana
- 150 ml greek yoghurt
- 300 ml whole milk
- 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 200 g porridge oats
- 50 g milk chocolate chips
- 4 tbsp dessicated coconut
- 100 g melted dark chocolate
- 75 ml strong black coffee
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- 2 tbsp flaked almonds
Mix And Leave!
Peel and mash up the banana.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the banana, yoghurt, whole milk, cocoa powder and melted dark chocolate.
Add the oats, chocolate chips and coconut. Cover with clingfilm and leave in the fridge overnight.
Chop most of the strawberries and stir them through the oat mix with the coffee.
Spoon the oat mix into a bowl, glass or sundae glass… whatever you fancy!
Top with some nicely sliced strawberries and flaked almonds.
