Iced Pear And Ginger Tea
In the summer months an iced tea can be more refreshing and thirst quenching than water itself... this is just such an example.
- 2 breakfast teabags
- 1 chunk of root ginger
- 1 tin of pear halves
- 100 g ice cubes
Place 2 breakfast teabags into a tea pot and fill up with boiling liquid. Stir and leave to brew for 10 minutes.
Then scoop out the teabags and chill the tea.
Grate The Ginger
Peel and grate the root ginger as finely as possible.
Mix And Serve
Over ice combine 1/3 pear juice from a tin of pear halves with 2/3 chilled tea and then stir in the grated ginger.
