2 cheap easter eggs
200 g dark chocolate
2 tbsp white chocolate chunks
2 tbsp mini marshmallows
2 creme eggs
1 handful mini eggs
1 tbsp rainbow sprinkles
Break Open The Easter Eggs
Carefully break open the easter eggs into halves and set them aside (save the wrappers if you want to rewrap!)
Melt The Chocolate
Crack the dark chocolate into small pieces and place 3/4 into a bowl over a pan of very gently simmering water... do not let the water touch the bottom of the bowl.
Let the melted chocolate cool a little.
Cut the creme eggs into quarters and the mini eggs into halves.
Spoon the warm chocolate into the easter egg halves and paint the edges.
Arrange the decorations in the warm chocolate so that they’re partially submerged.
Leave to cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Seal The Egg
If you want to, brush a little extra chocolate around the edges of the egg halves, then gently press the halves together.
Chill for another 30 minutes, then wrap them back up if you want to.
Gift to a friend or dig right in!
