Recipe: Teriyaki Ramen Noodles
This is a fresh stir fry using awesome teriyaki flavours. This recipe is so quick and easy that you will be wondering why you haven't made it before.
We guarantee it will be a hell of a lot tastier than ready made noodles!
- 1 handful(s) instant ramen noodles
- 1 handful(s) fresh coriander
- 2 spring onions
- 1 bag(s) mange tout, sliced
- 1 handful(s) bean sprouts
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 knob(s) fresh ginger, peeled
- 2 clove(s) garlic, peeled
- 1 red chilli
- 150 g raw prawns
Start The Sauce
Mix the soy sauce, mirin, honey and sesame oil together in a bowl.
Finish The Sauce
Grate the ginger and garlic and dice the chilli and add to mix.
Cook The Noodles
Pour boiling water over the noodles in a bowl and leave for 3-4 minutes.
Toss in a little oil to stop them sticking until needed.
Fry The Prawns & Veg
Fry the prawns in a hot wok with a tiny splash of oil for 30 seconds then add the mangetout and bean sprouts, cooking for a minute more.
Finish And Serve!
Pour the sauce and noodles into the pan and keep the contents of the pan moving as it all heats through.
Chop coriander and spring onions and sprinkle over dish before serving.
