These Terms & Conditions prevail in the event of any inconsistency with any other communications.
Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms & Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms & Conditions.
The promoter of this competition is:
Sorted Ventures Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 06346718 and has its registered office at Stag House, Old London Road, Hertford, Hertfordshire SG13 7LA, United Kingdom (“Sorted”).
This is an independent competition operated by Sorted and is not in association with any third party including brands whose gift vouchers/cards are awarded as prizes to winners.
1. HOW TO ENTER
i. The competition opens at 16:00 GMT on Wednesday 2nd November 2022 and closes at 23:59 GMT on Sunday 13th November 2022.
ii. To enter the competition you need to do the following:
iii. Your Free Trial must be activated no later than 23:59 GMT on Sunday 13th November 2022. All competition entries received after that time will not be accepted.
v. There is a limit of one entry to the competition per person. Duplicate entries will not be counted. Any duplicate entries will automatically be disqualified.
vi. Sorted does not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost or delayed regardless of the cause, including for example, as a result of any technical malfunctions and/or any network, server, computer hardware or software failures of any kind.
vii. No purchase is necessary.
2. ELIGIBILITY
i. The competition is open to entrants from the United Kingdom only. All entrants must be aged 18 or over.
ii. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and are eligible to claim the prize and have it delivered to a suitable email address.
iii. Sorted will not accept competition entries that are automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties, or in bulk, or incomplete.
iv. Sorted will not accept competition entries from employees of Sorted or any third parties professionally associated with the competition.
v. Sorted will not accept competition entries from existing Sidekick subscribers including those currently on a free trial.
vi. A Free Trial must be activated via Google Play or App Store and will not be eligible via Sorted’s website
3. WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT
i. The final winners will be selected at random from the list of entrants.
ii. Sorted will announce that the winners have been chosen on Instagram 16:00 GMT on Tuesday 15th November 2022.
iii. Sorted will contact the winners personally by email on or before 18:00 on Wednesday 16th November 2022 and the winner must respond to Sorted by email to hello@sortedfood.com within 48 hours of being notified they have won in order to claim their prize (Acknowledgement).
iv. If a winner does not respond to Sorted within 48 hours of being notified, then the winner’s prize may be forfeited and another winner selected in accordance with the process set out above.
v. The decision of the winners selected by Sorted is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
4. THE PRIZE
i. There is 1 prize each for 25 competition winners available.
ii. The winning entries will entitle each winner to receive x1 gift voucher worth £120.00 from a UK grocery retailer selected by Sorted.
iii. Winners will be able to choose their preferred gift voucher provider from one of the following selected UK grocery retailers: Tesco; Sainsburys; Morrisons; Aldi;
iv. There is no cash alternative for the prize and the prize is not negotiable or transferable.
v. Sorted reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.
5. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
i. Full details of the prize will be sent to the winners by email within 72 hours of Sorted’s receipt of the winner’s Acknowledgement.
ii. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf.
iii. Sorted does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, Sorted, its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Sorted, its agents and/or distributors or that of its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
i. By entering the competition, you agree that any personal data supplied to Sorted in connection with the competition (including your name, address and contact details) may be used by Sorted, their agents, partners and/or any third party suppliers (as applicable) in connection with the administration of the competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. The privacy policy of Sorted can be found here.
ii. Sorted may publish your Instagram name or Instagram handle. Your Instagram account and/or email address may also be used to contact you about the competition.
iii. This competition is in no way supported, endorsed, administered or associated with any third party including the grocery retailers whose gift vouchers have been selected by Sorted as prizes. Each gift voucher provider has its own terms and conditions which will apply when you redeem your gift voucher with them. Please ensure you read these and act in accordance with them at all times. Sorted accepts no responsibility for your breach of such terms and conditions.
8. GENERAL
i. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms & Conditions Sorted may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the competition or withdraw the prize.
ii. Sorted reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
iii. If a provision of these Terms & Conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, that part shall not affect the validity of the other provisions in these Terms & Conditions, and shall be severed from those provisions.
iv. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by English law, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
