Recipe: Chocolate Ban-Udge Muffins... In A Jar!
This is a beautiful gift! Any gift of food is readily received... but muffins... Now you're talking!
This jar contains all the ingredients you need to tip into a bowl and simply add some water and oil then bake. Couldn't be quicker or easier to have freshly made muffins. Plus it'll keep safe in the cupboard until you get the temptation to bake!
- 200 g self-raising flour
- 100 g soft brown sugar
- 4 tbsp whole milk powder
- 1 sachet of egg white powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 75 g dried banana chips
- 100 g fudge pieces, chopped
Weigh And Layer
Grab yourself a jar with a lid.
Weigh all the ingredients into separate bowls.
Carefully layer them into the jar, packing the contents down as you go so they don't mix over time. Alternate colours.
Label And Gift
Bung on the lid and label up as a gift. Make sure you have the instructions on the back of the label so the person you gift it to knows how to bake them.
Instructions For Label
Preheat an oven to 180°C.
Tip the jar into a big bowl.
Mix well with 120ml of water and 60ml of veg oil.
Divide into 8 muffin cases.
Bake for 15 minutes.
