Recipe: Milk And Cookie Shots

Dominic Ansel has done it again... first the cronut and now the most brilliant merge of a childhood memory... warm cookies and a glass of milk. We've done our version to celebrate but swapped the milk for ice cream and mixed up the flavours! Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 110 g softened salted butter
- 45 g soft brown sugar
- 35 g vanilla caster sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 190 g plain flour
- 80 g white chocolate chunks
- 1 serving strawberry ice cream
- 1 handful fresh strawberries

Step 1
Make The Cookie Dough
Beat the butter and both sugars together in a bowl. Mix in the egg yolk, following by the flour. Stir through the chocolate chunks, making sure they are very small pieces and well thoroughly combined into the cookie dough.

Step 2
Press Into Mould
Press the dough into the inside of some glass-like moulds so that there is an even layer on the bottom and up all sides. Chill for 30 minutes before baking.

Step 3
Bake
Preheat an oven to 180ºC. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes.

Step 4
Shape
Force a shot glass into the baked cookies as soon as they come out of the oven to reinforce a neat shot shape. Allow to cool.

Step 5
Decorate
Spoon or pipe in some strawberry ice cream and decorate with white chocolate shavings and fresh strawberries before eating immediately.
