We wanted to write a really great article about great things to do with strawberries because they’re in season right now, overcrowding the supermarkets and are the juiciest most pleasant things of all time. We’ve got some great recipes for you (and a few curve balls) so you can make the most of the fruits that Summer has left to offer!
This recipe is ideal if you need an easy party dessert that you can make in advance. Whip it up and bung it in the fridge, garnish with some strawbs and marsh (don’t forget the sprig of mint), and voila! Fluffy clouds all round.
This recipe is much like the English classic strawberries and cream, except it’s baked. We told you there’d be curve balls. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. Great to bake up in one big tray or adorable smaller portions, it’s up to you. Finish with a sprig of mint. We’ve got a great recipe for a bbq version of this coming out soon. Keep an eye out!
Ok, here’s where we start to get a bit Pinterest on you. I know what you’re thinking, come on guys, do you have to put avocado in EVERYTHING. The answer is yes, yes we do. Turns out, avo and strawbs are an excellent combo and one you should try, immediately.
Look at us go, at it again with the balsamic vinegar. This totally works though, just look how beautifully gooey they are with their gooeyness and fruit drizzle. I can actually taste them. Well, not actually but sort of.
So we’ve left Pinterest and joined the world of Instagram trends. Apparently, it’s trendy to make fruit and vegetables look like roses. We thought this looked like a lot of hard work so we diligently waited for a member of the SORTED community to make a handy step by step guide, and low and behold here it is! You guys are great.
Are you annoyed because we missed out your all time favourite dish? Vent your frustration on Twitter, we love hearing from you!
