Strawberry Champers

Summer has nearly gone already! But we're going to hold onto it for just a little longer with an amazing Berry Bellini. A sophisticated taste of summer - it's refreshing, delicious and makes any occasion special!

Ingredients

  • punnett of fresh strawberries
  • punnet of fresh raspberries
  • bottle of champagne / Cava / Sparkling wine

Recipe

take any green stalks from the berries and gently wash in cold running water.
blend in a liquidiser to get a vibrant zingy puree.
push this through a fine sieve to remove any seeds.
spoon some into a posh glass (about a third way up the glass).
pop the cork of the champagne and pour it into the glass to fill.
stir carefully and serve immediately in the sun and among friends.
