China has the largest population in the world... that many people can't be wrong... Chinese food is amazing. Each region, takes on a style of its own to reflect the product and resources available to them. Whether its stir-frys with noodles, rice or vegetables as staples, broths and soups, steamed dumplings or street food and snacks the number of dishes is endless.
Unfortunately, Chinese food in the UK is commonly associated with either takeaways or 'all-you-can-eat' buffets. It's these more familiar dishes that we've been taking a look at over the last year. SORTED has a whole selection of dishes that are inspired by the techniques and flavours of china, but are more naturally suited to a Western world.
If you're looking to beat the takeaway this week then we suggest the following three dishes - all of which can be cooked up in under 15 minutes and taste amazing! On offer we have special fried rice, 5 spice beef with cucumber salad and an amazingly healthy and tasty steamed seabream dish. Want to cook all of these? Then the shopping list is below!
