preheat an oven to 190°C.
line a muffin tray with muffin cases.
strip the thyme leaves from the stalks and chop finely.
measure all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
whisk the milk, butter, eggs and mustard in a jug.
add the wet ingredients to the dry bowl and mix well.
chop the cored pear into small chunks and fold into the muffin mixture with crumbled feta and the chopped thyme.
fill the muffin cases 3/4 full with mixture and bake for 20 minutes or until browned and springy.
allow to cool for 10 minutes and then turn out onto a wire rack.
