New Cake in a Mug
In association with Macmillan Cancer Support we've dug out the recipe for one of our most popular videos to date... our cappuccino cake in a mug... and given it a new twist. If you want to see what the original then check it out here
spoon the flour, sugar and almonds into a mug and stir to evenly combine.
crack in the egg and measure in the milk and oil.
stir to combine, making sure you get into all the 'corners' of the mug.
remove the spoon and scatter the top with the choc chips and dried fruit.
place into a microwave (800Watt) and cook on full power for 3 minutes.
leave to rest for 1 minute then enjoy your very own cake in a mug with a drizzle of cream or dollop of ice-cream.
serves 1.
- 2 tbsp self-raising flour
- 2 tbsp castor sugar
- 1 tbsp ground almonds
- 1 small egg
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp milk
- few white chocolate chips
- few dried cranberries.
